This product is small in size, hefty in weight and has a built in safety switch, which must be turned on before depressing the âfireâ button. The crackling, electrical sound and lights it emits when the âfireâ button is depressed is intimidating so no, I definitely wonât test it on myself. In short, I like it and will carry it with me for those unexpected eventsâ.
I have carried several different brands of stun guns and this one is my favorite so far. Other brands are great at first but either wonât hold a charge or wonât recharge even though they are supposed to. No problem at all with the pain pen. Luckily I have never had to actually use it on an assailant so I canât speak to the effectiveness of the shock intensity, itâs impressive volume has been enough. I also really like that I can carry it subtly in my pocket so I can easily keep it hidden.
Thankfully, I have not used them on any one or thing!
It clips to my pocket while I ride my bike. Itâs not going to down a rhino or anything but it has quite the sting. A little thing for a little piece of mind.
Okay, first, I would like to say that this pen is great to have as part of my EDC. I bought it back in 2020 during the riots when I was updating my EDC. My primary weapon is my 2nd Amendment, followed by my Fox knife, and I wanted to add a tazer to the mix with the rest of my EDC. Then this pen came up on my search bar. The pen still works to this day and I had it for 4 years! I did have to use it once when I got attacked when someone tried to rob me at knife point. My mind told me to reach for my primary then I remembered I had my pen so I took it out. The robber came at me and tried to stab me but I was quicker and I used the pen straight into his face. That ended that fight and he screamed, dropped his knife, and ran away. I highly recommend this pen for both your EDC you won't regret it.
It is good for what I was wanting it for which was to use as a warning when the dogs got to acting up or to scare off dogs that would come running at us when we were out walking. I wish it had light like my other one does. It functions quite well.

I love how small this is. It really looks like it could be a pen and the color is really lovely. It seems to pack a punch but I haven't tested it on myself. The safety button is really easy to use to prevent accidental hits. Just remember to put the safety back on after anytime that you turn it off. From how the buttons look, I would encourage folks to keep them out of reach of any children in the house

The main feature of the pen works fine, and honestly I like it. I just have a problem with the safety feature. Turning the switch down does not power down the device, so if the main button is pressed by accident, I'll end up taking myself or someone else, and therefore i won't even risk bringing it with me anywhere. Which kind of defeats the purpose of me buying it. Other than that, I really do like it. Maybe I just got one where the safety feature doesn't work?
This was a gift to my granddaughter she loved how easy it is to deploy and the noise it makes as a warning to those people.
