This product is small in size, hefty in weight and has a built in safety switch, which must be turned on before depressing the “fire” button. The crackling, electrical sound and lights it emits when the “fire” button is depressed is intimidating so no, I definitely won’t test it on myself. In short, I like it and will carry it with me for those unexpected events”.
I have carried several different brands of stun guns and this one is my favorite so far. Other brands are great at first but either won’t hold a charge or won’t recharge even though they are supposed to. No problem at all with the pain pen. Luckily I have never had to actually use it on an assailant so I can’t speak to the effectiveness of the shock intensity, it’s impressive volume has been enough. I also really like that I can carry it subtly in my pocket so I can easily keep it hidden.
Thankfully, I have not used them on any one or thing!
